Academic Credit Check

Students must successfully earn a minimum of 23 credits to graduate and also take the state provided ACT and OSTP test in United States History and Science.

An Academic Credit Check is a checklist to help you stay on track with your graduation goals. Each semester course you pass with a letter grade of D or above is worth .5 credit.

The course credits required to graduate include:
Language arts: 4 credits
Math: 3 credits between 9th and 12th grade (at or above the rigor of Algebra 1)
Lab Science: 3 credits (including Physical Science, Biology and 1 above the rigor of these courses)
Social studies: 3 credits (including U.S. History, Oklahoma History, and Government)
Other additional from the above areas: 1 credit
Personal Financial Literacy: 0.5 credit
Technology or 2 units of the same World Language: 2 credits
Art or Speech: 1 credit
Additional credits of electives: 5.5
