Welcome to the award-winning Enid HS Air Force Junior ROTC (AFJROTC) program. We have been designated a Distinguished Unit each of the last four years, and our competition teams have earned numerous trophies. In 2022, our Color Guard placed fourth in the national all-service drill completion.

Since this program was established in 1996, we have been accomplishing the AFJROTC mission to develop citizens of character dedicated to serving their nation and community. The objectives of AFJROTC are to educate and train high school cadets in citizenship; promote community service; instill responsibility, character, and self-discipline; and provide instruction in air and space fundamentals.

The AFJROTC curriculum includes Aerospace Science, Leadership Education and Wellness/Physical Fitness. We also offer many extra-curricular activities including drill team, color guard, saber team, physical fitness team, academic team, and a Military Ball. In addition, we take field trips and participate in several community service events throughout the school year.

While students are issued a uniform to wear and we use a military organizational structure, cadets are not being recruited for service in the Armed Forces. Participation in our program does NOT obligate the student to military service. Our program challenges students to develop their leadership and teamwork skills with a goal of improving their ability to be successful in and out of the classroom.

Cadets are required to wear their issued uniform once a week and must maintain Air Force grooming standards.
